Demi Lovato and Noah Cyrus were photographed holding hands at Six Flags on Tuesday, months later fuel romantic rumors.
Lovato, who? came out as non-binary in May, and Cyrus attended the “Space Jam: A New Legacy” party with friends at Magic Mountain in Valencia, California.
The ‘Camp Rock’ star, 28, wore a black beanie, bright pink shirt and tie-dye trousers, while the ‘July’ singer, 21, wore a white oversized sweatshirt, patched jeans and a navy blue beanie.
The pair were also joined by Lovato’s longtime friend Matthew Scott Montgomery.
The ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer and Miley Cyrus’ younger sister teamed up earlier this year to record the song ‘Easy’ for Lovato’s latest album, ‘Dancing with the Devil… the Art of Starting Over’.
A source told Page Six exclusively at the time that their behavior during the recording sessions made people wonder if they were more than just friends.
“They are very close and hang out together,” said a source, who even suggested the couple may have started an affair.
However, a second source called the rumors “weird” and insisted they were just friends.
“They eat sometimes, but they’re not romantic,” said the source. “They got together for this song that kind of got together at the last minute, and they hang out.”
Cyrus and Lovato’s outing comes a week after the duo first performed the collaboration at the YouTube Pride 2021 event. The Los Angeles Trans Chorus joined the musicians for the performance.
After their performance, Lovato shared a photo of their performance and thanked Cyrus for joining them on stage.
“Thank you @noahcyrus for closing the night with me for @youtube’s pride 2021 celebration 🎊🙏🏼🙌🏼 I’m so glad we finally got to sing our song together 💞#Easy,” Lovato captioned the photo.
Cyrus replied in the comments section, “thanks for having me ❤️❤️❤️ yiu [sic] were effortlessly perfect and I was never in awe of you 😢😢😢.”
