This time, some of this drama comes from a rather unusual place on a college campus. What happens when the death of a student leader turns everyone around him upside down? It becomes a difficult case to investigate because of some of the politics around them. This person was fighting for a cause and when you think about that, it’s easy to make a counter argument that there are plenty of people out there with a motive to go after them. Of course, there is also a difference between wanting someone to stop protesting and wanting them dead too. How did we get to this point?
If you want to know some more details about what’s to come, check out the Grantchester season 6 episode 6 synopsis below:
When a student group leader is killed during a protest, Will and Geordie become involved in campus politics. The bishop introduces a new face to the rectory.
As for the story in the rectory, this should be one that runs through the rest of the season – and possibly some time after that! Change is a constant in life, but typical is the church where you look for an element of stability. This can be very hard to accept, and we’ll have to wait and see exactly how some characters react to this over time.
Rest assured, at least you don’t have to worry about the show’s long-term future; there’s already a season 7 on the way, which means an opportunity for some thrilling mysteries and much more. There are few shows that do the detective drama format as well as this one and we’ve seen it time and time again.
