The actress, who booked a swanky Udaipur hotel for the wedding festivities, shelled out big bucks for the big day. In an appreciation post, sister Rangoli Chandel said that Kangana went all out and saw to every detail of his extravagant and regal destination wedding.
“I don’t know anyone who will do this for her/his sibling…. not only she spent crores but incessantly worked on each and every detail for more than a year, there is so much about Kangana but unfortunately people only focus on her fiery and courageous side…. her involvement with her surroundings her loving nature is her biggest strength… feeling emotional, feeling very emotional,” Rangoli said in the post while sharing a photo of the newlyweds.
According to reports, the actress spent an estimated Rs 6 crore on the wedding festivities, jewellery, elaborate custom-made outfits and everything else that went into making the wedding a memorable one.
Kangana on Thursday revealed that she had a traditional Gujarati Bandh Lehenga stitched in advance for the big day. The stunning ensemble that was hand-made by artisans, took over 14 months to create
“Everyone who is asking about my lehenga, it’s a Gujarati bandhani lehnga which took almost 14 months to be made, ” she wrote.
“A dying art I am privileged enough to be able to support, designer Anuradha Vakil made this dream come true,” she added.
After wrapping up wedding festivities, the actress shared an appreciation post for the “ghee to her fire”.
Sharing a selfie with sister Rangoli, she said, “I can see any impossible dream everyone can oppose me but when she looks at me with that gleam in her eyes I know it will be done. Ghee to my fire, my sister Rangoli, thank you, lovely time we had in Udaipur now heading home to attend Dham being organised by my parents.”
