Her mother, Durganath Dahal, said that his daughter is now in good hands. She died in the Norvic hospital, where she was receiving treatment. She was in critical condition the morning of the accident. Doctors fed her through a feeding tube, but it was clear that her condition was not improving. The doctors had tried removing debris from her body, but the wounds had not healed. During the long, difficult recovery process, her father hoped that Nisha would be able to sit on her own and talk when she is older.
Since the accident, Nisha has been in critical condition and has had multiple surgeries. She is now receiving treatment at Norvik Hospital in Thapathali. Her condition is slowly improving, but the pictures of her are not encouraging. She has lost over 20 kg and is barely recognisable. She has regained consciousness, but her father wants her to talk again when she is well enough to speak. After her treatment, Nisha is expected to be able to walk, talk, and even go to the toilet by herself.
