Last year, Ozark had rolled out its third season in March 2020, and it turned out to be one of the best seasons yet. Shortly after, the show was renewed for a fourth season in June, and is expected to get even more captivating after the action-packed Season 3 finale.
It is worth noting that the show, with its brilliance, not only became the most watched show on Netflix, but was also decorated with 2 Emmys, one for Jason Bateman and the other for an outstanding supporting role of Julia Garner. Now we know you’re waiting rampantly for the fourth with the biggest, so let’s discuss the updates:
Ozark Season 4: Release Date
Ever since the Ozark has been revamped for its final season, fans have been crazy to know when it will come out. Previously, Jason Bateman revealed that production started in November 2020 and that the minimum time required to roll out a season was 12 months. Still, like many other projects that were delayed due to the pandemic, Ozark also experienced production delays. Also, Ozark Season 4 will contain 14 episodes, divided into 2 parts.
The makers have not yet announced an official release date, but we expect the first part to be released in the last quarter of 2021 and the second part in the first quarter of 2022.
Ozark Season 4: Cast
Ozark Season 4 brings back all the major characters. Jason Bateman will reprise his role as Martin Byrde. Laura Linney plays Wendry Byrde. Charlie Tahan will also return as Wyatt Langmore. Apart from them, Felix Solis and Damian Young also return in Season 4.
Ozark Season 4: Trailer
Since we don’t have an official release date ahead of us, it’s hard to expect a trailer. However, last year the trailer for season 3 was released a month before the show’s release, so we expect the creators to follow a similar trend.
Ozark Season 4: Plot
With a lot of fan theories lurking here, is what we expect from Seasois4. Darlene Snell has come out on top in all three seasons and has overcome every obstacle that has come her way, but it looks like she needs all the help in Season 4 when she takes on Marty (Jason Bateman) and Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney) again, finally.
Season 4 may also reveal how Darlene and her late husband Jacob were able to drag the Ozark police for so long. A few fan theories also seem to explain why Sheriff Nix is so firmly in Snell’s Pockets.
Stay tuned for more updates.
