RJ Balaji has been known as India’s radio jockey, comedian, actor, and presenter of Tamil Television, Film, and Radio. He is the most well-known presenter for BIG FM 92.7 He is also a regular on his character in shows such as Take it easy and now it’s named “Cross Talk and in the show, he makes several prank calls to unwitting victims. Amid his post-graduation in journalism, he is enrolled at the Amrita School of Communication, which is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He applied for the position of RJ and was chosen.
To pursue his career, RJ Balaji has resigned from his university studies. ” HelloCoimbatore” is his first time hosting the show that is broadcast every day. After four years as an RJ in Coimbatore the city, he was allowed to join 92.7 Big FM and he began hosting an evening prime-time show titled Take It Easy, which led to him becoming a household name as an RJ. He then began hosting a show known as Crosstalk which was where he would use to make prank calls that have become extremely popular with the younger generation. Additionally, he used to look over the latest news on his show, which was titled segment 120. Because of the issues they faced, they decided to end the show.
RJ Balaji too attempted his hand at acting. In early times, he was employed as an actor and voice actor for the film Puthagam in 2013. The first film that starred RJ Balaji is Ethir Neechal. In addition, for his role in the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, He was awarded the award for Best Comedian in the SIIMA Award and IIFA Utsavam Award. In the following years, he was in other films, including Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru, Vadacurry, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, and Pugazh. In addition to all of these, he is a great social activist as his actions were more in aid of those in need, and during the time of the flooding in Chennai, He aided the people affected by the floods.
