Tamil Nadu Earthquake: Chennai was hit by an earthquake of magnitude 5.1 on Tuesday afternoon. According to National Institute of Seismology, the quake was recorded at 12:35 pm near Chennai on Tuesday, 24 August 2021. The epicenter of the quake was around 320km east-northeast off Chennai.
