The Nexon subcompact SUV with new 16-inch 5-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels has started arriving at dealerships.
It was recently that we told you about Tata Motors introducing new alloy wheels for the Nexon SUV. Now, the subcompact SUV featuring new alloy wheels has started arriving at dealerships. The older V-shaped spoke alloy wheels have been replaced with a new 16-inch 5-spoke dual-tone diamond-cut design. Recently, the Indian carmaker also discontinued the Tectonic Blue colour of the SUV. It now comes in five shades – Foliage Green, Calgary White, Flame Red, Pure Silver and Daytona Grey.
Do note, the homegrown automaker offers these new diamond-cut alloy wheels only on select variants of the Nexon. It includes XZ+, XZ+ (S), XZ+ (O), XZA+, XZA+ (O) and XZA+ (S). Apart from a new set of alloy wheels, no changes have been made to the subcompact SUV. It comes in 12 variants across XE, XM, XZ and XZ+ trim options. The prices of the Nexon start at ₹ 7.19 lakh, going up to ₹ 12.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
As for mechanicals, it continues to come in both petrol and diesel engine options. While the petrol is a 1.2-litre turbocharged unit that is tuned to make 118 bhp and 170 Nm of peak torque, the latter is a 1.5-litre oil burner that is good for 108 bhp and 260 Nm of power figures. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT.
