In an unfortunate turn of events, one of Bigg Boss OTT’s strongest contenders, who was known to remind the public of 1990s Salman Khan, Zeeshan Khan was eliminated after an altercation with controversy child Pratik Sehajpal.
This isn’t the first time the show has witnessed a verbal brawl that tends to get physical. Every year we’ve had fights and disagreements that have gotten pretty ugly, but an effective immediate elimination has never been a course of action. This time, with the elimination of Zeeshan that shocked the inmates and also some ex-participants and loyalists, the creators received some deliberate criticism.
Response from Zeeshan Khan:
Actor Tina Datta and a friend of the actor boldly released a message saying, “We want justice,” many other actors called it unfair in bold.
Many even pointed out that he was instigated and what he did was an equal response of an action.
Roadies winner Arun Sharma made the obvious, posting a photo of Zeeshan showing his injuries and writing: ‘This man deserves to go back home.’
Varun Sood, Divya’s beau, also actively supported denouncing the show’s creators as an unfair move.
Former contestant and actress Kishwer Merchant also wrote that Zeeshan’s elimination is unfair.
Most of the crowd is still coming to terms with the elimination of Ridhima followed by Zeeshan. History is proof that such acts were not accounted for or that warnings were issued, but an immediate eviction was not well received by fans of the show. We wonder if the creators want to change their mind. It seems that Zeeshan has made a strong support system in 2 weeks of his tenure in the house.
