Varsha Abhay is an Indian film actress who works in the South Indian film industry. She debuted as an actress through the film Kotha Kabadi Sivakumar, which was released in 1998. She has acted in more than 200 films to date and has won several awards for her performances. Varsha Abhay was born on 7 March 1979 into a Tamil Family in Salem, Tamil Nadu. She did her schooling at Hindu Girls’ College and graduated with a degree in Mass Communication. She then worked with various organizations, including Jeevan Yoga Foundation, Chennai, and Jikee Media House, Bangalore before deciding to pursue acting full-time. She married actor-director Ravi Varma on 24 November 2003; however, their relationship ended amicably after just three months of their marriage due to his alcoholism and drug abuse problems. In 2009, she introduced herself as “Mrs. Abhay” in public to signify her rekindled relationship with the actor and their two daughters from a previous marriage.

Varsha Abhay was born on 7 March 1979 to S. Janaki, a school teacher, and Thiru. Rajam, a factory manager. Janaki is an Indian playback singer and a former member of the Tamil Nadu State Film Orchestra. Her husband, Rajam, is an Indian film actor who is known for his roles in Telugu and Tamil films. Varsha has a younger sister, Preethi, and a younger brother, Akhil. Her brothers are actors Akhil, Akshay, and Varun. Varsha Abhay is the third of seven children in her family, and her parents were both school teachers. She was raised in a Tamil-speaking family and was inspired to take up acting during her school days at Hindu Girls’ College, Salem. Varsha made her acting debut in the Malayalam film Kotha Kabadi Sivakumar (1998) and went on to act in more than 200 films to date.
